Wonderful unique hand carved black forest style barometer with pair of horses highlighting the design. Probably dates to mid-century. Has opaque glass thermometer backboard with handpainted numerals. Barometer with blue enamel highlights on the gauges. Excellent working condition. Only issue is a minor crack to the white glass thermo backer board, but hardly visible. Nice large piece, measures 27" tall by 13.5" at widest. All wood, all hand carved. Love the position of the horses, such a special feature.
